We’re excited to introduce Client Spotlights, a new feature highlighting the specific ways our solutions have helped customers accomplish their goals. Our first Customer Spotlight features Marston’s, the UK’s largest independent brewer, which was facing a tricky SAP upgrade.
Marston’s had a complex SAP environment, and IT didn’t have a full understanding of how the business used the applications. One thing was certain – the traditional way of capturing test scripts was too expensive, time-consuming and disruptive to users. It was clear the company needed software solutions to help it manage and control the testing function.
That’s where Original Software came in. Marston’s chose TestDrive-Assist to help capture all of their day-to-day, period-end and year-end processes, and after it was remotely installed on each user’s desktop overnight, it helped them fully record over 1,000 transactions.
This allowed the company helping them with their upgrade to fully understand how the business was using SAP because they had shots of all of the customized screens. It took a lot of ambiguity out of writing the test cases and meant they had a data set ready to go.
