TAU of UAT – Understanding

There can never be a single true knowledge, merely the aggregate of uncountable different viewpoints

Knowledge is always partial and affected by the standpoint of the person claiming that knowledge. There can never be a single true knowledge, merely the aggregate of uncountable different viewpoints. Because software is always changing, knowledge about the system is always changing.
Different users have different knowledge, enabling different viewpoints from multiple users to be captured into the same test and repeated in the future/added to will increase the scope and effectiveness of the testing.
To make the most out of the UAT system, it is always important for the managers to be able to see as many of these viewpoints as possible. For effective release management information such as burndown of tasks and resolution of defects, it is hard without a management solution.
This can affect the ability to give an accurate release date estimation. With all the standard UAT project management information available, the relative status, forecasted resource needs, and end date can be easily seen. Accurate release information will allow greater client confidence in the ability of UAT to perform their required function.
This approach supports the process when test requirements change and re-allocation is needed with ease. Full management reporting, dashboards and charts further enhance the ability to ensure the clearest picture of the project can be seen at any time.
