Senior Account Executive, Chicago, Illinois, (Westmont office)
The successful Senior Sales Executive will be experienced in development of new enterprise level account business for Original Software, products and services.
This position requires a "Hunter" mentality with a component of account relationship development. The sales executive is responsible for generating new business through out-bound client engagements. The territory development is focused on ERP solutions with a emphasis on SAP and Oracle eBusiness enterprise applications. The position will incur travel on a strategic sales basis.
The compensation is extremely competitive and includes base salary, commissions and bonus. The earnings level is consistent with experience and ability; OTE at plan mid $200K plus, with no cap on earnings.
He/she will be responsible for selling our market leading solutions of Application Quality Management (AQM) and automated testing solutions, in an assigned territory. Original Software is uniquely positioned to provide quality assurance products and services to major accounts. The territory assignment is focused on the Central States region.
Qualified candidates must have expertise in enterprise software sales and a strong working knowledge and real world experience in one of the following segments of the software industry; SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, CRM solutions.
Requirements, Skill and Abilities:
- Consultative selling skills; Creative and dynamic engagement management skills
- Strong enterprise software sales experience; selling complex, high dollar value solutions
- Experience managing major enterprise account relationships
- Effective negotiation skills and experience in enterprise level software sales transactions
- Effective in sales qualification and business development
- Experience delivering presentations and proposals to executive level audiences
- Entrepreneurial characteristics and leadership capabilities; ability to work independently
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding annual sales quota
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential
- Team-oriented behavior; comfortable in growing business environment
- 5+ years of experience in technology sales
- Education; Masters degree preferred, Bachelor's degree required.

Senior Product Specialist, Chicago, Illonois, (Westmont office)
Original Software is looking for a dynamic individual with high energy and drive to join the North American Presales Team as a Senior Product Specialist. Candidates must live in the Chicago area. This role combines both pre-sales and implementation consulting.
The successful Senior Product Specialist will be knowledgeable in the various elements of the software development lifecycle, have strong technical acumen, and have experience in Application Quality Management technologies and related automated testing solutions.
Pre-sales responsibilities include explaining the features and benefits of the Original Software solution; delivering product presentations to technical and management personnel and communicating with sales and product managers regarding customer needs; providing on-site support and product installation for proof of concepts; handling technical presentations at trade shows and conferences; completing RFI/RFP's; identifying client requirements and ensuring proactive communications with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Consulting responsibilities include implementation and training delivery for Original Software solutions; software development lifecycle best-practices as it relates to Application Quality Management; on-site account management and project oversight.
Requirements, Skill and Abilities:
- 75% Pre-sales focused, 25% Consulting
- Up to 50% travel on average; North America focused
- Competitive tool experience
- MS SQL Server and/or Oracle data administrator skills

- Experience delivering presentations and proposals to executive level audiences

- Proven track record of pre-sales or post-sales consulting for a software company
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential

- 3 plus years of experience in technology sales
- Experience with SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle applications
- Education; Bachelor’s degree required
