Regional Sales Manager – Chicago, (Westmont IL office)
The Candidate will be successful and experienced in sales for creation of new business within enterprise and mid-level accounts. This successful candidate will be responsible for strategic sales of Original Software, Inc. products and services, while cross selling and up selling into existing customer accounts. This sales position requires a “hunter” mentality with an element of account management. The territory sales executive is responsible for generating new business through outbound client engagements. The territory development is enhanced through company-generated leads. The position may incur some travel on a strategic sales basis. The compensation is extremely competitive and includes base salary, commissions and bonus. The earnings level is consistent with experience and ability; OTE at plan equals $200K plus, with no cap on earnings.
He/she will be responsible for selling our suite of automated testing solutions and quality assurance products and services to all accounts, in an assigned territory. The territory assignment is focused on East region, and the major market accounts within the territory. Qualified candidates should have expertise in and real world experience in one of the following industry segments of the software business; Application Development, Change Management, Performance Monitoring, Quality Assurance, Enterprise Resource Planning and Client Relationship Management software Industry.
Skills Needed
- Consultative selling skills; Creative and dynamic engagement management skills
- Strong enterprise software sales experience; selling complex, high dollar value solutions
- Experience managing major enterprise account relationships
- Effective negotiation skills and experience in enterprise level software sales transactions
- Proven career performances in selling into Fortune 1000 companies
- Effective in sales qualification and business development
- Experience delivering presentations and proposals to executive level audiences
- Entrepreneurial characteristics and leadership capabilities; ability to work independently
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding annual sales quota
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential
- Team-oriented behavior; comfortable in growing business environment
- (5 ) plus years of experience in technology sales
- Education; Masters degree preferred, Bachelor’s degree required
